Because the sky is blue and the grass is green, we will stay outside !

My kids love to spend time outside. As the weather has been pretty nice last few days, as soon as they come home from their daycare, they go straight to outside and stay for a couple of more hours.

The funny thing is that they are not only playing. From time to time, they are just chilling out on the deck. They sit on their chairs, eat their snacks and watch airplanes flying over.

It seems that they’ve already figured out how to enjoy the spring and summer. (They just haven’t got their hands onto nice cold beers yet….:)

Have a great weekend, everybody!  Happy Victoria Day!

Red Rock Country – Sedona, Arizona

Back in March when we visited Arizona, we did a road trip to Sedona. Being know as “Red Rock Country”, the view and scenery in Sedona was spectacular! (basically, everywhere in the town has a great view) The weather was pretty crazy for the week we were there. One day we enjoyed swimming in the pool, next day we pulled our winter jackets for the light snow. Other than that, we enjoyed amazing hikes and visited some energy vortexes (Sedona has been known as a spiritual energy centre), enjoyed shopping some Mexican influenced arts and crafts at Tlaquepaque.  Also, we had a great Mexican food at a local restaurant, Elote Cafe (I highly recommend to try “Elote” for your appetizer).

Kimono

A few weeks ago I helped a client from Japan dress in a Kimono for a corporate party.

I truly enjoy Kitsuke (which in Japanese means the art of dressing someone in a Kimono) every time I do it. It allows me to re-identify with my Japanese roots and appreciate the cultural traditions I grew up with.
